Art work which is unique, exclusive and original is hard to find, many art follows trends, looks towards old masters for inspiration, copies and tries to replicate others, however the use of shotgun parts to create powerful, strong, dynamic one of a kind sculptures is something which has been first created by Both Barrels Art.
The first stag head created using shotgun barrels for antlers was aptly named Hearn the Hunter from English Folklore and due to its popularity Tyrion, Simon, & Evan were created.
Becoming an artist was not something I ever thought I would be, however a series of events lead to the start of Als Auto Art back in 2013, I gave up for a while but then was again inspired by being asked to make a creation for someone who was recovering from major surgery, then through the Covid years it became a passion and a focus in the evenings after work, to make creations which are proudly displayed and have significant presence within any home, office or garage.
Having worked closely with the Hampshire Constabulary I am in the unique position to use destroyed shotguns as part of the work which I create, all of my sculptures are individual and if they contain parts of destroyed shotguns, Certificates of destruction will accompany each piece to show that the component and licensable parts of the guns can legally be held as part of a Both Barrels art sculpture. The first example of a stag head sculpture using component parts is Paul which is created from automotive and shotgun parts, Pauls antlers are finished in Range Rover Velocity Blue which truly creates a powerful and bright piece - commissions are welcome just drop me an email.
